Tentative agreement on the evil Bailout Plan is the saddest thing I have found this month. God has abandoned us!
The American public is the last source of hope to throw out this evil Bailout Plan. Personally, I have no more hope over the future of America and I am planning what I should do in response to the downfall of America.
The unfairness to us in Hong Kong is that our Hong Kong dollar is still pegged to the US dollar. There is no reason why the US dollar will stay strong or become stronger; the future trend must be downwards. People in Hong Kong are using their valuable assets to support a declining US dollar. Our Hong Kong assets may worth, say, $100 but since our currency is pegged to the US dollar, a further devaluation of the US dollar by 10% will reduce our asset value to $90. We are truly supporting the devaluation of the USD by our own wealth!
There is absolutely no benefit to Hong Kong, mainly because Hong Kong is no longer a genuine exporter. Exports from Hong Kong are really transhipment through Hong Kong! Hyperinflation will only continue to fly above roof!
I am sure Hong Kong people will continue to the victims of the American monetary policy and the devaluation of the US dollar particularly after the execution of the evil Bailout Plan. It is a sad time for Hong Kong too.
