ICE AGE has come

ICE AGE is here. Shall we behave like caveman? Dear guys, I have started my hibernation much much earlier and I won't even follow the caveman. Yes, I have stored some food, water and ammunition so as to survive this long and may be unending ICE AGE. You see this is all very natural: after a mad mad mad bull run in the stock, currency and commodities for several years since 2003, everything will be cooled down. This is Nature and none of us can go against the powerful forces of Nature.

There are so many warning signs and omens before the coming of this ICE AGE but you ignore them:

  • The retirement of Alan Greenspan signaled the end of an era and a new beginning (i.e. the ICE AGE)
  • The spread of false rumors about changes in policies of our Central Government in Beijing re investments in the Hong Kong Stock Casino, etc.
  • One last rumor was the stimulus package for Chinese stocks, which is an absolute groundless rumor
  • When you see the crocodiles in the market using rumors to manipulate the market, you know there is no more hope and all they can do is to use some low-taste tricks to try to fish for their preys, if any more
  • The sudden change in the Fed's tone from lifting growth to worrying about inflation
  • The political pressures coming from all nations in response to the unending fall of the US dollar
  • The riots and demonstrations worldwide against rising prices of fuel, food and other basic necessities
  • The resignation of leaders around the world
  • The occurrence of natural disasters in many different places
  • In Hong Kong, the collapse of one of the oldest trees in Stanley village is perhaps the worst omen. Why? Stanley is the origin of Hong Kong; it was the fishing village of the old original Hong Kong in the 19th century and when its oldest tree fell killing innocent victim, you know what it means
  • In the US, the omen was the retreat of Hillary Clinton from competing with Obama. Why? The future must be bleak or very bleak whoever becomes the US President and one chose to retreat
  • Russia and Georgia....let's see

Well, I don't care ICE AGE is here. The bottom-line is I have no bottom-line. I have seen too much and the worst is always yet to come. Once again Shakespeare comes into my mind:

"Our indiscretion sometimes serve us well. There is a special Providence in the fall of a sparrow. The readiness is all."
