I have decided to say goodbye to US investments

Yes, after several days of struggle, I have decided we should say goodbye to US investments and first thing we do, we must dump the US dollar.

If you are in Hong Kong, you should not worry too much if you dump US dollar and get back HK dollar. If the peg between HKD and USD remains there, you should little to lose. But if the peg is abolished, your bet is the Hong Kong dollar will go up against the USD just as our RMB has been rising against USD. Whether HKD can be pegged to RMB is a sensitive question but it is obvious that there is only one China and we must have one unified currency! HKD must be pegged to the national currency, RMB, one day; this is political and economic reality.

Countries like China, Japan and Russia that are holding USD assets and investments will have a painful experience in finding ways to mitigate the losses and depreciation of the US dollar. This issue is not only their problems but also the whole world. The unending depreciation of the USD has caused grave concerns particularly protests against hyperinflation. But for the time being, as long as oil price stays high, a strong currency should help to alleviate the pain.

As for the markets, I think they will have to drift another perfect storm after the evil Bailout Plan is executed. History shows that government intervention in a scale as bad as the evil Bailout Plan has done more harm than good. May be the devils in Wall Street will continue their good old days and you know, devils will fight among themselves when the evil Bailout is on the table.

We will see a world of absolute chaos when the devils outside Wall Street can't get a good share of the evil Bailout Plan. There will be internal rebellions and rivalries between the devil's party and there will be external threats to Wall Street from all sides of the world. Wall Street will takeover the US Treasury instead of the US administration regulating Wall Street. This is what they call "reverse takeover."

Why? Power corrupts and absolutely power corrupts absolutely. The US administration will be defeated by the devils at the end. I am very optimistic that the devils will win. Give me one good example that the devils in Wall Street have lost a war!
