One Crisis after another. What Next?

There is no end to the housing and financial crisis. Whether you agree with this statement or not, it is clear that we are seeing one crisis after another! From Bear Stearns, we move on to Fannie & Freddie, and from the takeover announced on Sunday, we are moving on to Lehman.

I'm sure that there will be another bailout (no matter how it is labeled or in whatever form) of Lehman. This time the Treasury and the Fed may have to twist the key to another side; I mean the drama should play a different plot with some new characters. Let's see: how about using China's outbound investment channels? How about Singapore's SWF again? No, may be we try approaching Warren Buffett, ...No, may be JPM again; they are very well-experienced in this kind of exercise by now. Hey, what about Japan? Why are they so inactive?

Let's wait and see. We need some sleep after last Sunday. Who cares about bailout now! Things can't be improved or stabilized despite all the bailouts and we can't secure the election tickets anyway. Nobody can blame us for doing nothing this time. We are bound to address the hyperinflation problem and the taxpayers' interest.

What? China and Japan are pulling out the plug and buying gold instead? Never mind, let's all dump the US dollar and you guys will see how you will suffer.
