It will do you good if households and businesses spend less

Come on, everyone knows the problems with the US economy are too many and over-spending is one of them. Isn't excellent to see less spending by the US households and businesses? They should spend less and save more. Ask any prudent investor or economist to get an honest opinion.

The US economy will never be the same again after the painful experience of these few months. But after such pain, you may find something to rejoice when the culture of over-spending, over-borrowing and over-leveraging is corrected.

I still can't understand the threats claimed by Henry and Ben. Will you die if the evil Bailout plan is not approved? Or will I die? If we still survive, we can win and we can reconstruct everything. Don't be childish, my dear friends of Wall Street! Take a look at what happened to the poor victims of the big earthquake in China and you will learn what life means. If spending less is a threat to you, you simply don't understand what being human on the earth means; you simply don't understand life at all!
