Why the Democrats or Pan-Democrats are included in the fall?

I support democracy but the Democrats or Pan-Democrats have done more harm than good to many people particularly those in need of money in Hong Kong.

The Democrats or Pan-Democrats were the ones who took away the basic protection for tenants in Hong Kong. Tenants in Hong Kong have legal protection for security of tenure and rent increase for a long time. Suddenly the legal protections were taken away without consultation or hesitation after the SARS attack in 2003. This is extremely harmful particularly to the poor or less wealthy sector of our society and this may be one of the main reasons why we are seeing more and more street sleepers everyday!

The Democrats or Pan-Democrats rely on celebrities and stars to promote their campaign or get votes. I have no particular objections to such technique since many elections in other places are using similar tactics. But what is objectionable is that the celebrities and stars are mostly chosen from bourgeoisie, mainly the rich or super-rich. They do not have good social consciousness nor do they have good actual experience with the conditions of the general public in Hong Kong. Yes, they may be rich and well-educated but what could they do to help the public in Hong Kong? Most innocent people thought that they could but so far, I have seen nothing done by the Democrats or Pan-Democrats in terms of really helping the poor, the weak, the aged, the exploited, etc. in Hong Kong and their abolition of the legal protection for the poor tenants in Hong Kong is an iron example of their cruelty!

I have no intention to criticise the Democrats or Pan-Democrats but just want to explain why I think they must fail or must not get the support from the general public in Hong Kong.
