Put Financials in Bailout Board

We don't have a choice. Poor Financials must be taken out from the DOW and placed in the new "Bailout Board." They are the virus-carriers contaminating many other healthy stocks in the DOW. It's grossly unfair and irrational to drag down healthy companies and their stocks with these patients or rather dying patients carrying the Bear Flu.

We must quarantine the Financials until we can find a cure. This is the safest and wisest way to keep the healthy ones alive and save our global stock markets. Please tell the authorities to act ASAP before it is too late.

As for housing, why not sell all problematic mortgaged properties as quickly as possible? Since the US government is turning communistic, those houses that are unsaleable or unmarketable can be taken up by the government as state-owned properties. Once the abyss can be filled up, the wounds can be covered and hopefully the bleeding may stop and healing may begin.

I would also think that such distressed sale of houses in the US should be open to buyers from all over the world. The price can be offered at a big discount and should be comparatively lower than the average price in other parts of the world e.g. London, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong. In this way, the sale will surely be attractive to overseas buyers. In addition, the US government may offer rental guarantees to the overseas buyers and even residence permits to successful buyers. This will not only help to sell distressed properties but also promote the slow US economy. Consider the way that Sovereign Wealth Funds have been buying US assets since the outbreak of the subprime mortgage default crisis and you should agree that selling to overseas buyers is a good way to stop the bleeding and spread of the Bear Flu virus.

USA has become more or less an international place. It gets cheap imports from China and other emerging markets, sells their own finished products and exports them to the world. This is how many of their MNCs have managed international trade and business. You must not look at USA as a domestic economy but instead think about it as a combination of MNCs and then you may get a better picture. That is perhaps the reason why their economic data do not prove a real recession in technical terms.

If the combined MNCs can isolate the Financials and put them in quarantine, then the disease can be buried. Put Financials in a Bailout Board and inject different vaccines and drugs, new or old, to fight against the virus in the new venue. One day, we will find a cure and kill the Bear Flu.
