Will we see the final collapse of US dollar? Will Money be abolished?

It seems the only way to cool the credit crisis is to pump more money into the banking system. In other words, print more paper money. When the printing stops and we start to count the figures, we may go mad! It may probably be trillions of dollars.

By the time when we celebrate the end of the credit and housing crises, we will probably be seeing a highly devalued US dollar, say, a depreciation by 40-50% if the end of the crises comes within the next 6-12 months.

The sad point is that we cannot escape from this damn devaluation. Major currencies everywhere are competing by similar devaluation. Euro, GBP, RMB, AUD, CAD, ...they are all falling as well! So clearly foreign currencies are a poor shelter. Yes, I haven't looked at YEN and I do hope it's our last hope??

Perhaps, Dr. Doom is correct. We should go for Gold! But look at the poor gold prices; it is wavering up and down like oil prices. Gold no longer serves as a hedge against inflation nor does it serve a medium for storage of value!

As for oil, it is sickening to see the free fall since July. Don't ask why! The whole game is just speculation, no more and no less!

Don't you mention real estate to me! I might shoot you down now.

Well, let's celebrate the final collapse of the US dollar and more meaningfully, the collapse of MONEY! Yes, money in this 21st century must be abolished and we must find something better than PRINTED PAPERS to store real economic value!

God, why have you forsaken us?
