New Bretton Wood Agreement?

I have little understanding of this fantastic agreement but since UK, among others, has proposed a new agreement, you should be familiar with the implications.

I would like to see a new international agreement to replace the position of US dollar as an international reserve currency. We simply cannot work any longer by relying on a currency of a bankrupting state. The blackholes in Wall Street will not stop sucking more and more money and blood. How much more paper money can you print to fill the holes? How strong the US dollar can be and for how long?

We don't want to repeat the hyperinflation caused by the devaluation of US dollar nor do we want to see over-leveraging and over-speculation based on a falling US dollar and a falling Yen. Somehow, we must put an end to these unhealthy developments.

The worst may yet to come. All countries are now competing by devaluing their currencies and I'm sure we will soon see either uncontrollable hyperinflation or uncontrollable hyper-deflation! The livelihoods of ordinary people in the street will be jeopardized and their lives will be debased to sub-level of subsistence. This is not the world that our 21st century should create or allow. If we can't improve the situation, the end result will be a repeat of History.

Yes, History will repeat itself in this 21st century. The inhuman gap between rich and poor, the immoral inequality between human beings, the lack of resources including natural resources, the degenerating human spirit and the ever winning casino culture of Wall Street will only lead to revolts, rebellions, revolutions and wars as in the past centuries. Think about the French Revolution in 1789, the great age of revolutions in Europe after the Napoleonic wars in the 19th century and particularly in 1848, the Russian revolutions, ...the great communist takeover of China....

I am no supporter of such chaos but unfortunately, we cannot rely on the wisdom of the ruling elites to avoid such chaos. They themselves are the source or part of the source of the evil creating such chaos.

It's time to think about long-term investments in view of the potential chaotic world that our 21st century will see. I leave it to our clever devils in Wall Street to invent some more toxic pills to handle the problems and you will surely get some bright ideas on how to invest cleverly by taking advantage of the great chaos coming to our world.

Personally, I believe the best investment for all times is spiritual investment and investing in a healthy body and healthy mind! Do you agree?

God, why have you forsaken us?
