We are educated not to be superstitious but the local officials in Hong Kong do go to pray for fortune sticks in every Chinese Lunar New Year. The Year of the Ox is of course no exception.
Hong Kong has gained a very bad fortune stick from Che Kung Temple today! Regret for praying for stick! Well, you must take it since you pray for it!
The most revealing point that the stick is telling us is that all misfortunes are brought by your own deeds! Yes, I agree entirely. The financial crisis and recession are brought by the evil deeds of the whole society, the whole financial and securities industries of the world and all people around the world. Don't say that you are not responsible even though you have stayed away from the crazy over-speculations and leveraging, etc., in the last dew years. The responsibilities are collective and your acquiescence is the best support for such evil deeds!
Now what will happen to us after getting a bad fortune stick?? Well, if you don't believe the stick, you must never pray for it and if you have now received it from Che Kung, you must face the bad future and omen. Very very simple; don't twist the bad or evil into something good or rosy to deceive yourself.
