Do you feel any good done by bailouts?

We hear bailouts everyday and cry for more bailouts everyday. But as ordinary people in the street, do you feel any good done by these bailouts? Honestly, I don't feel anything!

In Hong Kong, we see rising unemployment, rapid closures of many businesses, poor earnings reports or huge losses and worse, suicides everyday. Certainly any bailout cannot help.

What puzzles me now is why do things get worse so suddenly, so quick and so drastic? Are these failures an exposure of the ugly reality that has been suppressed in the last few years by the government, by the MAD BULL disease in the stock and property markets or by the powerful ruling elites in Hong Kong? Or are these failures part of a great drama directed by the devils who directed the whole housing and credit crises causing the global recession now hitting us? Anyway, when so many failures emerge everyday when people were still so rosy half a year ago, something must be deceiving our eyes in the last few years!

Perhaps the most stupid deception was the idea that Hong Kong need not do anything to improve its competitiveness and economy save and except in one single sector, namely, financials. In essence, such idea is a call to establish a "parasitic society" where people survive purely by over-speculations, over-leveraging and over-lending! This is absolute degeneration of human civilization! I am not criticising those who advocated such idea; it's pointless to do so now! But these irresponsible guys should now be quarantined and isolated.

What I am most disappointed is that Hong Kong has abused the very foundation of the "One Country Two Systems" rule! The local government is given a certain autonomy to run Hong Kong on its own but sadly, such autonomy has clearly been misused! Nothing constructive in economic or social terms has been achieved. All members of the local government, all politicians and social groups in Hong Kong must share the responsibilities for such failure including the Pan-Democrats fighting for votes in the local legislative council.

When Premier Wen gave his honest and kind advice to Hong Kong last year, nobody listened! This is clearly an abuse of the "One Country Two Systems" rule. The sad news is that even after causing the failures hitting us today, no one in the local community is showing any regret! They are just crying for bailouts, not only from the local government, but also from our Central Government in Beijing. Remorseless crowds, please go home and look at yourselves in the mirror!

God, why have you forsaken us? Why are you doing nothing?

Do not worry about the recession. Most people don't realize how much money there is out there. During economic times like this, there is more money to be had than ever. Because of the bailouts and economy, lenders are bending over backwards to bail you out too. Believe it or not, there is people getting tons of cheap money nowdays to start businesses, buy homes, pay off debt, and more. Bailout is for YOU
