Death of Chinese Sturgeon is an Omen?

This is superstitious but the death of a Chinese National Treasure in Hong Kong must not be forgiven easily. We don't have all the facts yet but who can gather the evidence now? The poor Chinese Sturgeon was killed by the other sharks in the tank! How could you prove the crime of the murderers? Those killer sharks must be punished for the death of the poor Chinese Sturgeon.

When the news was released yesterday, many people felt very sad and soon we also felt it was a sign of ill omen. Why? Chinese Sturgeon represents good fortune and the poor one died yesterday represented one of the 5 circles in the Olympics logo. More than that, the 5 sturgeons together represent world peace and harmony and the spirit of the Olympic Games. To avoid such unlucky sign, the local HK government must pray for forgiveness and organize a solemn ceremony to grief for the unnatural death of the Chinese Sturgeon in Hong Kong. The horse-racing event of the Olympic Games in Hong Kong must pay very special attention to such unlucky sign.

Since the death occurred in HK's famous Ocean Park, the Park should open for free for visitors to pay tribute to the dead Chinese Sturgeon and then the Park should be closed for some days to express sorrow.

As to how the Authorities in Mainland China would like to do about this unlucky event, we must not interfere because we live under the "One Country and Two Systems" principle. But common-sense dictates that you must not put our national treasure in the same tank with sharks! I can't believe such action was approved by our Mainland Authorities. Hong Kong is notorious for the way it administers tourist sites and facilities. The unending saga about the unusable Cable Car in Lantau Island is a very good example. And now the Ocean Park has become the scene of the murder of our Chinese National Treasure!

As a layman investor, I am afraid that the psychological impact on our stock market must be very negative. Soon after the death of our Chinese Sturgeon, typhoon no. 8 was hoisted and our Hong Kong Stock Casino has to close for trading today. Bad, very very bad! Hopefully when the market reopens, we will not see the HS Index tumbling.

The death of our Chinese Sturgeon reminds me of the death of the Chinese Dragon, a symbol of China. The local HK government must seriously consult good Feng Shui masters in China about the remedial steps that they must take to avoid disasters arising from this ill-omen.
