What will happen to us in 2009?

I have a nightmare, a very terrible one. In 2009 (don't know which month), we would have lost at least 30-40% of our wealth and the world economy is in chaos. What is most terrible is that a strange unidentified deadly disease will be spreading around us and it is air-borne! We have riots, raids, killings, revolts, etc., in many poor countries and rumor or false prophecy that Judgment Day is near. At the last moment of my nightmare, I saw my old dream coming back but I can't tell you.

Hey, it's but a dream only!

A guy was so fascinated by the movie, IOUSA, that he thought he had discovered a new continent. My God! The theme of IOUSA is something as old as Gone with the Wind! What is shocking to me is the hyper-reactions of so many people. It reveals that many are simply ignorant of how the world's economy is operated, how international trade is moving everyday, and worst, many are simply ignorant of the fact that "money" means nothing but figures floating in the air! They are victims of the poor education that they have, and certainly the low standard of media communications that they receive. If you walk into a shop like 711 in Hong Kong, you will know why. The most popular magazines and papers are those that report sex, scandals, etc., and if there is anything about finance, it will be tips about which hot stocks you should buy or sell to make quick money....That is the level of knowledge that our so-called "knowledge-based" society is offering and we say this represents absolute freedom!

Perhaps, none of the central banks in the world wants us to know what is really going on. We can go on to enjoy life without knowing that we are actually slaves under an intangible economic tyranny! Have you watched the movie, Stargate? The slaves in the alien planet keep on building pyramids for the alien ruler and worship him like a god without any awareness that they are treated like ants! When they discover the truth, some of them start to revolt but some still don't. This is part of my nightmare as I have already mentioned.

Suddenly there appears to be a little light at the end of tunnel. How about ....no I can't,won't tell you...
